Sailrite Adhesive Cloth is a "sail repair patch" that cover a rip or hole is a sail. These patches are pre-cut to the size indicated. It includes (2) patches, one for each side of the damaged area. Installation is simple. The repair suggestion is to cut a round circle and remove any loose or frayed threads or sail material at the damage area when possible i.e. cut a 3" circle for a 4" patch. Remove the backing paper from the patch and center over damaged sail area and press around the patch over the patch area leaving remaining center adhesive area open. Turn over sail and apply the second patch to the same area on the reverse side. The two patches will be bonded in the center. Press firmly all around the patch on both side. Picture below shows a 4" patch on a 3" hole. Somewhat hard to see but that's the point.
