Early mariner foward hatch needed
Nathaniel Merrill

Hello folks! New member, with a new to me mariner that is missing it's forward hatch cover. This is an early version with the second hatch forward of the main cabin entrance.

Anyone have one available?

Thanks

It's a boat salvage. It would be sad if a Mariner was being neglected there.

If your handy it's not to hard to make on with plexi and 4 pieces of wood.

I lost mine last year and the only actual replacement I could find was new from Stuart: $$$$$. Nothing pre-made was the right dimensions. So I made one. I am not handy, but it was pretty easy.

Thanks for the ideas folks. The boat currently has a homemade unit on it, but I like the idea of one with a real window for light. Maybe I'll just make one too, if I don't find an original. There are other things that I need to spend my time on.

Thanks!

A lift off one may be easiest. If your cabin top is like my photo. It's a really tight fit for that aft board and hinges to fit. Mine does not open 90 degrees.
