I'm selling my 1989 Stuart Mariner with hull number 4128. Probably the most notable thing about it is that it’s a long way from where it was built – it’s stored here in Los Angeles, a rare West-Coast Mariner. As a Stuart-built boat, it has the improved balsa internal wood, fiberglass centerboard, and weights glassed into the lowest part of the hull. I bought it in 2021, added new Rolly Tasker sails, a 12v system for navigation lights, bilge pump and a pair of VHF radios with GPS emergency function. It’s got a big Richie compass, HawkEye depth finder, cushions to sleep four (six with the boom tent), anchor, trolling motor and also 3.5hp Mercury outboard. Also: a Simrad Autopilot, TillerClutch tiller assist, ACR Res-Q-Link 400 beacon, lifelines and bow and stern pulpit (currently removed, but easily put back), PortaPotty, trailer-mounted electric winch and gin pole for one-person mast raising/lowering -- and lots of other hardware and safety and convenience items. It was last sailed almost 3 years ago, and has been covered in mast-up storage in Marina Del Rey, CA since then. It’s dusty but otherwise clean and ready to sail. I have current California registration for the boat and the 1989 trailer.
Located in Marina Del Rey, California. Price: $5,000
