Jib Parts - for the cost of shipping
Walter Pearson

I have the remnants of what I assume was the original jib for my early model Mariner. I used it for some experimenting that was not successful enough to pursue. Was going to toss, but noticed the hanks and thought others who sew sails might make use of the parts. The sew-on bronze hanks have some advantages and seem to be somewhat scarce, so they alone might be worth something to somebody. I removed one out of curiosity and for better visualization. It all fits in a medium flat rate USPS box.

Walter I have an interest in the jib parts. I'm curious how many hanks there are.

I have never seen sew on hanks. They are cool looking.

I'll send you the postage and willing to add a few bucks for your effort.

They would even look good in a Maritime frame with other small sailing items, brass blocks etc.

Mike - Those hanks intrigued me, too. I'm at the age where I think about all those things that my descendants will throw in the dumpster. I don't like to think about working bronze parts in a landfill. Thanks for the cargo shifting offer. There are seven hanks total. If your address in the member directory is correct, I'll ship tomorrow. Nothing needed beyond the shipping $.

Yes the address is correct. I'll send a check or preferred payment when I know how much it is and what type.
