Hi, everybody,

I recently purchased a new trailer for Orion as I hope to do some long-distance excursions in the years ahead. Her current trailer has some rust spots that make me a little nervous for towing hundreds of miles at a time, but I have absolutely no qualms about trailering Orion to and from the launch ramp (40 miles each way). Since I obviously have no need for two trailers, I'm hoping someone will be interested in having this one.

  • Ready to go for a Mariner. No bunk, roller, axle, or winch adjustments needed! Can be used TODAY.
  • New axle, leaf springs, and hubs in 2019.
  • New winch around 2020. Works flawlessly.
  • All the lights work!
  • Tires in great condition.
  • Has both bow rollers for ease of launching/retrieving and bunks for secure transporation and winter storage.
  • Also features two small bow bunks for centering and support.

The rust spots are primarily at some of the bunk brackets and at the forward-most crosspiece with a roller on it. It has rusted through where the roller is so the roller is not supported on one side. (See the pictures.)

Three years ago, I noticed a small split on the top of the frame on the starboard side where it bends. I had it rewelded and repainted, and it has been great ever since. (See another attached picture.)

At one point, the frame was hinged to make launching a boat easier, but the mechanism was so rusted I put a bolt through the frame to keep it from moving. It has been rock solid, but with a little work, it might be able to hinge again.

Take note there is no registration and no title. Anyone interested will need to bring their own temporary plates.

It is available in North Branford, Connecticut for $350, but I'm willing to negotiate. Make me an offer!

I hope someone can use it! Thanks, folks.
