Cancellation Policy:
Since this is a rain or shine event, and given that dock space must be reserved well in advance, I understand no refunds are available after I register. Should it be impossible for me to attend the event after I register, I will contact the event organizer and all efforts will be made to find a replacement who might attend in my place and reimburse me at a later date. I understand, however, such a replacement might not be available.

WHO:      All Mariner Class Association members, family and friends.

WHAT:    This event is meant to be a fun get-together for Mariner owners, sailing as a group from Niantic, Connecticut to Mystic Seaport. This is a rain or shine event.

We’ll launch our boats at the state-owned, well-maintained Niantic River launch ramp in Waterford Friday morning and sail approximately four hours to the Seaport where our reserved floating docks will be waiting for us. We’ll stay two nights and depart Sunday morning, arriving back in Niantic mid-afternoon.

While at the Seaport, we will have a Friday evening pizza party on the docks with food provided by the famous “Mystic Pizza”, and a Saturday evening “Open Boat” time for people to check out the docked Mariners and exchange snack foods and offer gear for sale. These are in addition to all the daily programs, exhibits, and sights and sounds offered at the Seaport itself and in downtown Mystic. Members attending by car may meet up with the rest of us either Friday afternoon in time for the dinner or anytime during the day on Saturday.

 

COST:

$175.00 per boat with skipper.
$10.00 per crewmember.
$10.00 per person attending by car.

(NOTE: Those attending by car must also purchase Seaport admission tickets at the gate once you arrive. General admission is $28.00.)

Thanks to generous support by the Mariner Class Association, this price reflects a savings of nearly 20%. Registration provides:

  • Museum admission for you and all aboard your Mariner
  • Two-night dockage next to historic vessels
  • Friday evening pizza party
  • Free WiFi
  • 24-hour access to nearby heads, showers, and laundry facilities
  • The unique ability to roam Seaport grounds at night after hours

While the Friday evening pizza party is included, you’ll be responsible for all other meals. But don’t worry – there are plenty of dining options in downtown Mystic and on Seaport grounds.
